These papers cover advancements in PEM fuel cell applications in vehicles including, but not limited to: advanced materials for cell or stack components, balance of plant (BOP) components, stack or system design, control strategies, modeling, testing, diagnostics and lifetime monitoring, hydrogen safety, durability, economics/cost reduction, and system integration/optimization. These topics can be addressed at the cell, stack, system or vehicle levels. A special focus on durability of stack and BOP components is also planned and topics covering accelerated tests and operating strategies to improve durability are encouraged.
